Two teenage girls battling cancer got their wish to become soldiers fulfilled by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The Lahore corps commander met the girls on behalf of the army chief and made them honorary soldiers for a day.

13-year-old Javeria and 15-year-old Ruba had expressed their wishes to the army chief of becoming a soldier of the Pakistan Army.

The girls laid floral wreaths at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and were also given a tour of the army museum.
